The Wolf trail is for boys who are in the second grade or who are 8 years old. Boys in the Wolf den work on twelve achievements tracks throughout the year.
For every three achievemtents that are completed, your son will receive a gold bead to display on his uniform to show his progress toward the rank of Wolf.
In addition to working on the Wolf achievement tracks, your son can also work on electives to earn gold and silver arrow points to display on his uniform below his Wolf badge. To earn a gold arrow point, a scout must complete any 10 elective projects of the more than 100 choices shown in the Wolf handbook. For every ten additional electives he completes, he will earn a silver arrow point to wear beneath the gold arrow point. He can earn as many silver arrow points as he wants while he is in the Wolf program.
The Wolf Handbook tells about the Wolf achievement requirements and arrow point electives. The Wolf Handbook may be purchased at the Norwela Council Office (map) in Shreveport.
Wolf uniform, patches, and accessories are also available for purchase from the Norwela Council Office (map).
